HSC level some important dialogues

RH Method
Students are asked to write dialogues with a view to justifying their basic knowledge of speaking with others and assessing the students with the sentences written by them. So, the real experience of speaking English must help the students write better than bookish knowledge only. In fact, the memorizing of some dialogues will be of no avail if the questions are a bit different. Examiners can never expect that students will cram some dialogues and will vomit those dialogues in the exams. And, I always suggest that students should change the habit of memorizing.
1.Write a dialogue between the two friends about the causes of failure in English and solution to this problem.

Rakib:    Hello Sumon, how are you?
Sumon: I am fine, and you?
Rakib:   I am also fine but I am thinking about a matter.
Sumon: What is the matter?
Rakib:    The matter is about the weakness of the students in English.
Sumon: Why are you thinking about this matter?
Rakib:    You know that thousands of students fail in this subject every year.
Sumon: You have said right .I think that these students have never thought this subject to be their friend.
The unpleasant truth is that they consider this subject as their enemy. What do you think?
Rakib:    Right you are? I think that they even do not know  that this language can be learnt and spoken.
They only know how to memorize.
Sumon: Exactly  so. When they see any uncommon question in the exam, they become senseless,
perplexed and finally blame their lot.
Rakib:    By suggesting them to memorize, a lot many teachers and lecturers are misleading and misguiding them. Do you know any solution to this?
Sumon: I think that they should read their text after learning English. If you ask me any question in
Chinese language, I will not understand because I do not know this language.
Rakib:  I think that they should speak English, read English newspaper and listen to English news.
Sumon:  I think that if speaking English is compulsory, they will be able to learn this language. Otherwise,
they will be failing in this subject ironically.
Rakib:    Thanks for sharing your valuable thinking.
Sumon: Thank you too.
Rakib:    See you again.

2.Write a dialogue between two friends on frequent road accidents in our country.
Alom:     Hello Shahin, what’s up?
Shahin:   I am in tension.
Alom:     About what?
Shahin:   I am thinking about road accidents. You know that many people die by road accidents
everyday .Getting into a bus means taking the risk of life.
Alom:     Right you are. Sometimes, it seems to me that life is at risk in Bangladesh. Road accidents have
become regular occurrences. What do you think?
Shahin:   Some accidents are very tragic and hair-raising. Few days ago, eleven members of a family died by a road accident.
Alom: Some people say that Bangladesh is called a country of road accidents. Unexpected death is very
common in Bangladesh. It can paralyze a family. Who do you think are responsible for road
accidents?
Shahin: Population is huge in number, vehicles are great in number, unskilled drivers are mushrooming and
roads are unplanned. Moreover, most of the drivers have over-taking tendency.
Alom:I think that drivers should abide by the traffic rules and they should not drive hurriedly. As roads are
very narrow, both passengers and drivers need be cautious. In fact, careful driving is a crying need.
Shahin: To reduce this problem, strict laws should be introduced. Roads should be widened and
consciousness has to be created among people.
Alom:     Exactly so. I think consciousness can play an important role about this matter.
Shahin: Thank you so much for your good thinking.
Alom :    Thank you too.
Shahin:   See you again.

3.Suppose you want to buy some books. Now, write a dialogue between you and the book-seller.

Myself:         I would like to buy an English grammar book.
Bookseller:  Would you mind telling me the name?
Myself:        PC Das Applied Grammar Book.
Bookseller: Here is it. A very useful book. A lot of people like this book.
Myself:      I had this book but I lost it. So, I need buy it again.
Bookseller: Will I pack it up?
Myself:       What’s the price?
Bookseller: One hundred taka only.
Myself:      But I bought it with ninety taka only for the first time. Can you reduce the price?
Bookseller: Ok, give ten taka less.
Myself:      Here is the money. Pack it up now.
Bookseller: Do you need anything else?

Asad:      I am thinking about environment which is being seriously polluted.
Masud:   Right you are.
Asad:     You know that air and water are the two important elements for us but they are being polluted
seriously.
Masud: You see that mills and factories, human waste and water vehicles are polluting water.
Asad:   Exactly so. Sound pollution and odour pollution have become very common. Even people mind
nothing to do these.
Masud: Unpleasant truth is that we must face a terrible situation if we cannot stop it.
Asad:  Over population, increasing number of industries and vehicles are mainly responsible for it.
Masud: Besides, unconsciousness, negligence and selfishness are not less responsible.
Asad:   How can we get the solution?
Masud: We all should know that a sound mind lives in a sound body. If a sound body lives in polluted
place, the mind must be polluted also.
Asad:    I think that strict laws should be introduced and awareness should be created among people.
Masud:Thank for sharing your opinion.
Asad:   Thank you too.
Masud:See you again.

into a coaching center there. Actually, I would like to get admitted into Rajshahi
University because my  cousin reads there.
Forhad: My father wants that I should read in Dhaka University. Actually, I would like to be a
lawyer and  so, I want to study law there. What is your target?
Abir:     I want to do honours in English in RU and I would like to be a lecturer in English. Why
would you like to be a lawyer?
Forhad: It’s a good profession and I would like to make the proper use of law. Why would you
like to be a   lecturer in English?
Abir:     You know that most of the students of Bangladesh are weak in English? And so, I would
like to  remove their weakness in English.

Shohag:  God knows what will happen to me if this goes on in this way.
Shoail:    Actually, all classes of people are suffering from it. All kinds of activities remain stagnant
because of load-shedding.
Shohag: Hospitals, banks, courts, schools and colleges become inactive because of load-shedding.
Moreover, it becomes intolerable in hot weather.
Shoail:   Exactly so. At night, it can make a place ghostly.
Shohag: To speak the truth, it has become a perennial problem.
Shoail:   Problems are everywhere. What is the solution?
Shohag: I think that more power plants should be set up and system loss should be reduced.
Shoail:   Not only that, illegal connections should be banned. I think that consciousness can play a vital role
               in this regard
Shohag:  The wastage of electricity should be stopped and strict laws should be introduced.
Shoail:   You know that electricity is the driving force of a country. So, it should be ensured at any cost.
Shohag: You know that lack of electricity means lack of production.
Shoail:   Hampering the study of the students is very harmful for a country, I think.
Shohag: Thanks for sharing your valuable ideas.
Shoail:   Thank you too.
Shohag:  See you again.

Fprhad:  Fairly well and I am going to take my sister from her private center.

Topu:     It is a great problem and it is increasing day by day.
Forhad:  You know that our girls and women are teased in schools, colleges, buses, trains, restaurants etc.
               Why is it occurring?
Topu:     I think that modern technology is influencing their mentality. Because of satellite channels, the
taste of the young people is being distorted.
Forhad:  Drug addiction is also responsible for it and sometimes, eve-teasers throw acid and even kill the
              victims.
Topu:    Not only that, love depression, frustration and moral decay are also responsible for it.
Forhad:  Right you are. I think that they have lack of consciousness.
Topu:     Even educated women are being teased by educated men. Certainly, it is nothing but moral
degradation.
Forhad:   As it is a social disease, we should remove it from our society.
Topu:     Consciousness can play a vital role in this regard. People have to cultivate morality in themselves.
              Boys have to be well-natured.
Forhad:  Strict laws should be introduced and proper steps should be taken.
Topu:     Actually, exemplary punishment can reduce eve-teasing.
Forhad: Thanks for sharing your valuable ideas.

Rakib: Nowadays, android and windows mobile phone are available and they work like computers.
Farid:  Right you are. Now, we can send e-mails and make video calls through a mobile phone.
Rakib: It has some bad sides also. Such as, terrorists and criminals use it and they commit crime.
Farid:  A lot of students waste their valuable time by using it and some have become addicted to it.
Rakib: Excessive use can cause various diseases, such as brain cancer, hearing problem and so on.
Farid:  Sometimes, mobile phones burst because of excessive use.

Ruma: With the blessing of science, our communication and activities and our way of life
have become very fast and developed.
Mitu:   It has some bad sides too. The uncontrolled use of it can harm anybody.
Ruma. Exactly so. Actually, we all should be aware of using it.
